After Manchester City's disappointment of missing out on the final Champions League spot last night, unbeaten European title contender John Murray is promising the City of Manchester that he will take his chance and secure the prestigious European belt on Friday night.
"I couldn't make it to the match last night as I was making my final preparations for the weigh in today, but I made sure that I watched it on TV. I was gutted with the result but it has made me more determined to succeed and bring home the European title to Manchester"
Murray will also be looking to claim the Lonsdale belt outright when he challenges Gary Buckland for the European Lightweight Title at the Kingsway Leisure Centre, Widnes tomorrow night (Friday 7th May). This exciting double title fight is being shown live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 10pm.

Also on the undercard is the classy Welterweight John O'Donnell who will be back in action in an 8 round international contest against Hungarian number 1 rated Laszlo Robert Balogh and Royston's Bradley Evans will be also in action.
Tickets for the show at the Kingsway Leisure Centre, Widnes are on sale from the Matchroom Sport box office on 01277 359900, tickets are priced at £30 for unreserved seating and £50 for ringside.
