LENNY Daws hopes to make the third successful defence of his British Light-Welterweight Championship next month.
Daws takes on Liverpool's undefeated Steve Williams in the headline bout of a Matchroom Sport boxing show on Friday, July 9 at London's Bethnal Green.
Daws, 31, won the British title in September 2009 and has only lost once in a 23-fight career, but is up against a fighter in Williams who has won all nine of his professional contests.
A mouth-watering undercard includes ex British champion Barry Morrison, who Daws won the title off, face ex European champion Ted Bami.
Prizefighter champions Michael Lomax and Prince Arron are also in action as is ex Commonwealth title holder Bradley Pryce and hugely popular undefeated prospect Chris Evangelou.
Tickets are priced £30 and £50 and are available from Matchroom Sport on 01277 359900.
