Kid Galahad: Jessica Ennis has done Sheffield proud.

n between training, Sheffield's rising boxing star Kid Galahad has been glued to the TV watching the Olympics and still can't believe what he has witnessed.

He said "Watching the 100m men's final last night was exciting but for me Saturday night was one of those moments that I'll never forget.

"It was so incredible watching one sensation unfold followed by another in such quick succession and it was topped off by the fantastic achievement by Jessica Ennis winning the gold.

"Jess has made Sheffield very proud, she is not only an Olympic champion but has now joined Sebastian Coe and Nassem Hamed as one of Sheffield's greatest ever sports people."

The WBC International Super Bantamweight champion who trains at the famous Sheffield Wincobank gym shares the same physiotherapist as the new Olympic champion Jessica.

"Watching Jess and Team GB in action has inspired me to continue working hard to achieve my goal of becoming an undefeated world champion and as me and Jess share the same physiotherapist I hope some of her magic will rub off on me."

"I'd like to congratulate all of the Great Britain medal winners not just Jess, their performances over the last week have been nothing less than phenomenal and here's hoping that the medal's keep on coming." Said Kid Galahad.
