Froch's second fight in the Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament will be shown live from Herning, Denmark, by Primetime TV, with the Nottingham boxer confi dent that fi ghting away from home will not be a problem.

Unbeaten Froch, 32, believes victory over the Dane will signal the end of Kessler's career, just like his last-gasp KO of Jermain Taylor led to the American pulling out of the Super Six following another stoppage loss in December.

Kessler, who was beaten on points by Welshman Joe Calzaghe in 2007, lost his WBA world title to American Andre Ward in his last fight and Froch believes another defeat will send the 30-year-old out of the tournament and into retirement.

Froch is already training for Kessler in Sheffi eld and is plunging into freezing baths after workouts.

The WBC super-middleweight champion said: "The ice baths are nasty and you feel less of a man when you get in them.

"You can't stay in them for long otherwise you would get hypothermia, so I just stay in them for three or four minutes. I'm feeling better for it. The rejuvenation is very good.

"It's all great preparation. When I beat Kessler, I will be finishing him off. A loss for Kessler will be the end of him at this stage. He might decide to retire.

"If I stop him, it guarantees me a semi- fi nal in the Super Six competition and that's what I'm going for, while Kessler will defi nitely be out of the competition.

"I think this is his last hurrah. I always seem to get the last or best out of my opposition.

"I've got Kessler after he's just lost and it will potentially bring the best out of him in front of his home fans because he's thinking, 'If I lose this, my career is over'."

However, Froch admits his fans might not travel to see him fi ght Kessler after the bout was put back a week and due to Nottingham Forest facing an important promotion game the same day.

He said: "It's a shame that it is in Herning and not Copenhagen, and that they've moved the fi ght back a week.

"I'm a big Nottingham Forest fan and their last game of the season is the same day, so a lot of my fans will want to go to that, but it can't be helped and the result will still be the same."
