CARL Froch believes ice baths are the key to becoming the first professional fighter to beat Mikkel Kessler on Danish soil.
Unbeaten WBC world super-middleweight champion Froch takes on Kessler in a Super Six World Series fight in Herning on April 24 and said: "It is agony getting into the ice bath and the first time I did it I started with just my big toe, which was probably not a great idea.
"Footballers and rugby players swear by it and I will do anything I can, even if it gives me just another one per cent.
"Kessler is a great fighter and I won't say anything against him as a person, but I will finish his career."
