Evans gets pro career off to flying start

The Comet5th March, 2009

Stevenage ABC boxer Bradley Evans got his professional career off to a winning start at the Norfolk Showground on Saturday night when he overcame Birmingham's Sid Razzak.

In his first fight since winning the Senior ABA Championship last May, Evans started the contest at an electric pace displaying a variety of punches and working behind a solid jab.

Evans went on to win three out of the four rounds while drawing the other to take the contest by 40 points to 37.

If Evans can steer clear of injury over the next few weeks he is lined up to fight at The York Halls at Bethnal Green over the Easter weekend.
