CHICAGO, IL, (March 21, 2009) Chicago based ring announcer Thomas Treiber has taken over a new territory as England's Hennessy Sports has made plans to utilize his world class skills for their monthly ITV boxing series.
Treiber's first trip to England was on December 6th as super middleweight Carl Froch won the World Boxing Council title against Jean Pascal in an outstanding twelve round bout at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
"It was a terrific experience for my first event with Hennessy Sports, the crowd was fantastic and they saw an outstanding battle" said Treiber.
Treiber is now part of the ITV4 broadcast team for the highly rated monthly boxing series, "THE BIG FIGHT LIVE" airing in the UK , along with North America and Australia .
Said Mick Hennessy, CEO of Hennessy Sports, "We consider Thomas to be one of the best ring announcers in America and we are very pleased to have him as part of our team.."
