FURY BIDS TO MAKE IT FIVE OUT OF FIVE

Sportinglife7th April, 2009

Tyson Fury bids to make it five wins from five when he meets Matthew Ellis at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday night.

The 20-year-old heavyweight sensation - who stands a massive 6ft 8ins - has so far lived up to a lofty reputation by winning all four of his four pro bouts inside the distance.

And Ellis - who has lost only six times in 27 bouts - represents a decent test according to Fury's promoter Mick Hennessy.

He said, "I believe Ellis represents another decent test for Tyson at this stage in his career. I've matched him aggressively so far but Tyson has answered all the questions asked of him to date.

"If you look at the combined record of his first 5 opponents they had a total of 82 wins between them. That kind of statistic shows how much confidence I have in Tyson to match him with guys like that so early in his career."

Topping the bill on Saturday night is John O'Donnell's challenge for Craig Watson's Commonwealth lightweight title.
