Weight-ing game nearly over for Barker, McDermott, Fury and Belshaw

It will be a tale of the two Darren's alongside British boxing's "biggest" prospects tomorrow (Friday, May 22nd) at the weigh in for this Saturday's Hennessy Sports event at the Watford Colosseum.

Commonwealth Middleweight Champ, "Dazzling" Darren Barker will step on the scales at the Park Inn Hotel, Watford at 1pm along with challenger Darren McDermott ahead of their eagerly awaited title clash in a fight that also doubles as a final eliminator for the British title.

The scales will also be put to the test when heavyweight giants Tyson Fury and Scott Belshaw weigh in for their scheduled 8 round bout on the card.

With an expected combined weight of almost 500 pounds 6 foot 9 inch Fury and 6 foot 7 inch Belshaw are sure to create a stir when they step on the scales.

Fury, a former ABA super Heavyweight champ and World Junior medallist has so far racked up five straight wins in the pro ranks with all five victories coming inside the distance. Belshaw, a five time Irish amateur champ also has impressive pro credentials with just one defeat (later avenged) from his eleven pro fights with seven early wins.

Also weighing in on Friday will be Matthew Thirlwall and George Hillyard who will battle it out in what promises to be a thrilling ten round Middleweight clash while Steve Barnes and opponent Nick Seager will also step on the scales.

Hot prospects Bradley Evans, Steve O'Meara will also feature on Saturday night alongside the pro debut of Tyson Fury's cousin, Phill Fury.

Saturday night's action will be live on ITV4's Big Fight Live from 7.30pm on what promises to be an explosive night for fight fans.
