Fury still flying

Manchester Evening New25th May, 2009

WILMSLOW heavyweight Tyson Fury continued his march towards the British title by registering his sixth straight inside the distance victory at Watford.

Latest to feel the force of man mountain Fury was Northern Ireland's Scott Belshaw, beaten just once in 11 previous bouts and never stopped.

That no longer remains the case after Tyson dropped him on no fewer than three occasions with punishing left hooks to the body, twice in the dying seconds of the opener and then again early in the second round to bring about the intervention of Kent referee Richie Davies with just 52 seconds of the session having elapsed.

Said Tyson: "I'm the best heavyweight in Britain by a mile."
