HALL OF FAME BOXING ANNOUNCER AL BERNSTEIN TALKS KID GALAHAD AND CHRIS EUBANK JR.
Hennessy Sports 10th May, 2012
London (May 10) Hennessy Sports caught up for a chat with legendary Hall of Fame boxing announcer Al Bernstein before he left Las Vegas for Sheffield, England.
Al, who is enjoying being a part of the UK TV terrestrial boxing shows, will be ringside announcing both the WBC International Super Bantamweight title fight between Kid Galahad and Josh Wale and the middleweight contest featuring Chris Eubank Jr.
The event named Pride of Yorkshire will be broadcast live on Channel 5 this coming Saturday (May 12.) from 10:30pm.
Al said ""Kid Galahad showed in his last big win that he is becoming a world class contender. He is the very definition of clever in the ring and his unorthodox style makes him tough for anyone to beat. Former title challenger Josh Wale will provide very tough competition and they should create a very interesting bout."
With over 30 years of experience he brings a wealth of knowledge and says he is looking forward to watching rising star Chris Eubank Jr journey in the professionals.
"Chris Eubank Jr. brings excitement into the ring, much as his fabled dad did years ago. His hand speed and aggressive style make him more interesting than a pure boxer and more artful than a pure slugger. Watching his boxing journey will be fun and entertaining."
Tune in to Channel 5 this Saturday (May 12) from 10:30pm to watch all the action from the Hillsborough Leisure Centre.
