Pupils at Tuckswood Primary School in Allandale Road, Norwich, had a visit from Norwich boxer Jon Thaxton and Jay Campbell who is a holistic communications and education specialist yesterday .

They were at the school to talk to the children about what they could achieve in the future.

The subject was rites of passage and Jon Thaxton gave the pupils a development task to show what they could achieve with determination, effort, concentration and attitude. He also explained about not giving up and achieving whatever they aspired to.

Jay Campbell spoke to the pupils, about how music, and Caribbean music in particular, can play a part in British youth culture.

Sue Ferguson from the school, said: "The pupils asked questions about any concerns they had and they were given an idea of how it is to grow up in another country and culture and comparing the two."
