Junior Witter will travel to the State of California in the USA to face young gun Devon "The Great" Alexander for the vacant WBC Superlightweight World Title.Witter will need both both guns blazing as he takes a drink in the last chance saloon.

"At the age of 35 it will be probably be the last chance I have of regaining the WBC Title I lost to Timothy Bradley last May.Alexander is young and confident and has the comfort of knowing I have been beaten by an underdog. There will be no excuses and I am going to have to do it the hard way and beat him in his own back yard. "

Strong words indeed but Witter will have to pull out an explosive performance to make sure of the result .

"I need to find the form that destroyed Vivian Harris in 7 rounds I have it within an I need to tap into it on the night."

Mick Hennessy is working out the finer details with Don King who promotes Alexander and this is due to take place 1st August at the Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage, California .

"Whatever the situation is,I will be fighting for the World Title at some point and that is where I am focused right now,in the gym everyday putting in the hours and grinding out the rounds.I am confident I can bring the belt back once again."
