Junior Witter latest

Junior Witter has been given the chance to fight for his old WBC light-welterweight crown against American Devon Alexander in California on August 1. Witter has been in the boxing wilderness since losing the coveted green belt to Timothy Bradley 13 months ago and is delighted to have landed this shot at redemption.
"At the age of 35 it will probably be the last chance I have of regaining the WBC title I lost to Bradley last May," he said.
"Alexander is young and confident and he has the comfort of knowing that I have been beaten by an underdog.
"But there will be no excuses and I am going to have to do it the hard way and beat him in his own backyard."
