DEL BOY: I'LL KO PHONEY FURY

Derek "Del Boy" Chisora says he'll knock out John McDermott and Tyson Fury - on the same night.

Fury and McDermott were the subject of a controversial English Heavyweight Title fight on Friday, won by Fury courtesy of a contentious decision.

But Chisora, who is poised to make a ring return on October 9 at Bethnal Green's York Hall after serving a suspension for biting, insists he's more than a match for either of them.

"If they fight me they will find out they have bitten off more than they can chew," said Chisora.

"It was a good scrap on Friday, and there's no doubt that McDermott deserved to win.

"I wish I could have the same thing that the referee was smoking because it looked like good stuff.

"All the talk at the moment is of a rematch, but I hope they don't do it because I want to be the first to take Fury's unbeaten record away from him.

"If he goes in with McDermott again he'll get beaten. I'll knock out McDermott no problem, but it won't be the same as bursting Fury's bubble."

Chisora, unbeaten since turning professional with Frank Warren two years ago, is also chasing a shot at the British heavyweight title.

His ban, for biting Paul Bultin in his last fight, cost him a showdown with Danny Williams, but he is still hoping to challenge for the Lonsdale belt.

"It was a stupid mistake and I paid the price because the Williams fight didn't happen," said Chisora.

"But I want to fight for a title by the end of the year, and whether it's against Fury, McDermott or Williams, I know I'll win."

Promoter Frank Warren said: "I'd put Derek in against McDermott or Fury tomorrow.

"I've got every confidence in him and that's why we arranged the Danny Williams fight.

"Everyone jokes about Derek getting banned, but it's cost him a British title fight which I think he would have won."
