Could Froch face the music at City Ground?

Nottingham Evening Post Ray Yoema21st October, 2009

THEY were playing musical chairs at the Froch-Dirrell fight at 2am on Sunday.

It might sound bizarre, but it was one of the highlights for me.

Let's face it, 2.43am on a Sunday is a ridiculous time to do anything, let alone watch boxing.

Yet more than 8,000 persevered, enduring long periods of inactivity - mostly without a complaint.

A blank 90 minutes before the big fight, with nothing to keep them occupied, might test the patience of those who had been there prior to the first bell at 8.30 on Saturday night, never mind the hundreds of late-comers who had queued to get in.
