Kid Galahad will be looking to add the IBF World Youth Title to his growing collection of titles when he faces unbeaten Brazilian Adeilson Dos Santos at Ponds Forge on Saturday 20th Sept.

The fight will be shown live on Channel 5 in the UK and on SporTV in Brazil and on FightNetwork in Canada and is sponsored by MaxiNutrition.

The fighter from Sheffield who currently holds the European and Commonwealth Super Bantamweight titles is hoping a win over Dos Santos will also be a springboard for him to enter the IBF rankings and get him closer to a shot at the world title he craves.

Kid said “I’m hoping that after beating Dos Santos the IBF will place me very highly in their rankings, the people I have faced and the titles I have won over the last 12 months I feel like I deserve to be in-line for a world title, not many fighters have done what I have done and won the British, Commonwealth and European titles in 3 fights.

“Scott Quigg swerved me even after Mick (Hennessy) my promoter offered him a great purse to fight me, so if I want to become world champion I have to go after Carl Frampton instead and I hope he doesn’t do the same as Quigg and avoid me.”

“If they are man enough to step up, Me, Quigg and Frampton could be the new Eubank, Benn and Watson.”

“But before I can chase them I must overcome Dos Santos, he looks a quality tough fighter, it will be a great fight but I know I will claim that belt at the end of the night to add to my others.” Added Galahad.

The exciting undercard will also see another IBF title up for grabs when Adam Etches fights Samir Santos Barbosa for the IBF International Middleweight title.

Popular Sheffield fighter Scott Jenkins will also be in action along with local fighters Atif Shafiq, Sam O’Maison, Callum Hancock, Jordan Gill of Chatteris and Tyson Fury’s brother Young Fury.

The packed crowd will also see highly regarded featherweight prospect Yusuf Safa from Bexleyheath in action.
