Kaisee Benjamin Challenges Dalton Smith for the British Super Lightweight Title
A fascinating super-lightweight contest (November 12th, Manchester) between two talented young fighters who, in their own right, are future stars of the sport. But their success and dominance at domestic level has put them on a collision course now, as Kaisee Benjamin relishes the opportunity to win the coveted British Title
The champion, Dalton Smith, won the vacant title last August when he stopped Sam O’maison in 6 rounds in his hometown of Sheffield. He currently sits with a record of 12-0-0, with an impressive 83% knockout ratio which signifies his punching power. As such, Smith is widely regarded as one of the finest youngsters coming out of Britain
And on November 12th, he’ll be challenged by another impressive young fighter in Kaisee Benjamin – who has built a very impressive 9-fight unbeaten streak. He had a very active 2021, in which he completed the year with 5 fights and 5 knockouts. An immensely talented fighter with great shot selection, sharp reflexes and punching-power in both hands, Benjamin will undoubtedly present the toughest test of Smith’s career so far
The fight takes place on the undercard Natasha Jonas vs Marie Eve Dicaire, at the A.O. Arena in Manchester. November 12th, live on Sky Sports Boxing.
